This role is centered around hydraulic cylinder repair in a workshop setting. The Shop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing hydraulic cylinders to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. They play a key role in the maintenance and restoration of hydraulic components.

Job Duties Include:

  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic cylinders, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and identify faulty components in hydraulic cylinders.
  • Perform necessary repairs, including seal replacements, rod reconditioning, and cylinder reassembly.
  • Test repaired cylinders to ensure they function correctly and meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with other team members and provide technical expertise in hydraulic cylinder repair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding repair progress and any potential challenges.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hydraulic cylinder repair or related mechanical field.
