This office is a patient-centered dental practice committed to providing the highest standard of care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join the team.
Job Description: As an Experienced Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-quality care to our patients. You will be responsible for providing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dentist in patient treatment. This position offers a balanced work schedule with 4 days a week, allowing for both professional fulfillment and personal time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
- Conduct periodontal evaluations and provide appropriate treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures when necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts
- Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and maintained according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Provide a high level of patient care, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns
- Stay current with new techniques, technologies, and developments in dental hygiene
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Minimum of [3] years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficient in dental software and digital radiography
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
