Job Description:

Are you a compassionate and proactive individual with a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others? We are seeking Direct Care Staff to provide daily supervision and support to our clients, ensuring their health, safety, and welfare are always prioritized. As a key member of our team, you will build positive relationships with clients and staff, participate actively in team meetings, and engage in ongoing training provided by The U-Turn Foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily supervision and support to clients, focusing on their health, safety, and overall well-being.
  • Foster positive, interactive relationships with clients and staff.
  • Utilize therapeutic interactions and interventions as needed.
  • Participate in team/community meetings and engage in ongoing training and supervision.
  • Facilitate daily check-ins and psycho-educational groups.
  • Complete daily progress notes, incident reports, and other required documentation with accuracy.
  • Transport and supervise clients during outings and off-grounds activities.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and demonstrate dependability.
  • Remain actively involved on the floor, interacting with clients and maintaining awareness of their location and activities at all times.
  • Adapt to a constantly changing environment and work cooperatively with agency personnel at all levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be 21 years of age.
  2. Hold a valid AZ driver’s license and AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Card.
  3. Previous experience with youth or relevant education is preferred.

  • Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse team.
  • Willingness to accept supervision and support.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of self-identity and personal responsibility.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
