Western American Foods, Inc., is a small family owned business with international sales mostly.  We are trying to develop our domestic sales.  Our current customer base are breweries, wineries, meaderies and cider places.  We are hoping to expand into ice cream, yogurt and dairy.  We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative in Las Vegas Nevada.

Sales Representative overview:

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead, follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails, business visits, website searches, and other new ideas.
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements for all the different industries we sell in.
  • Get to know current customer accounts to learn industry knowledge and build current reference lists to leverage for new leads.
  • Building qualified opportunities to further development and close new business.

We are looking for a talented and competitive Sales Representative that thrives in a quick ever evolving sales environment.

 

What does a WAF Sales Representative do?

An outside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our daily management of existing accounts while achieving ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.  You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.

 

Daily Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • One week a month need to travel to a part of territory and visit customers.
  • Attend Weekly Sales meeting via conference calls.
  • Weekly Call log submitted before the meeting.
  • Create new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up
  • Make outbound cold calls daily
  • Send new prospect emails daily
  • Try to get sample requests from prospective customers.
  • Understand current customer needs and popular products
  • Close sales and achieve call and sales quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate product interest
  • Send samples to prospects and follow up for feedback
  • Maintain and expand the WAF nimble.com database of current customers and prospects
  • Team up and partner with current customers to build new local pipeline leads to build groups that will order together to build future consolidated shipment areas 
  • Perform and communicate effective phone, website, and online calls 
  • Minimal travel as needed to visit current clients and close new business
  • Daily log of all accounts contacted.
