Background

Cellicure, Inc. is a biotechnology company focusing on the development of innovative cell-based immunotherapies for the treatment of advanced solid and hematological malignancies. We are seeking highly motivated and creative Scientist/Senior Scientist with experience in cancer immunology or immunobiology to join our growing team in Germantown, Maryland.

Key responsibilities:

·       Design, plan and execute basic to complex cell-based and molecular biology experiments including tissue culture, flow cytometry analysis, cytokine production and cell activation assays.

·       Work collaboratively with other team members to advance therapeutic programs into early clinical development stages.

·       Report and discuss project progress with scientific leadership and provide intellectual contributions.

·       Maintain accurate experimental records, write SOP, and study reports, and prepare/deliver presentations on behalf of the team and the company.

Essential knowledge, experience, and skills:

·       PhD degree in immunology, cell Biology, or related fields.

·       Experience in immunology, cell biology, or molecular biology-related field required. Experience in cell therapy or immunotherapy field is preferred.

·       Strong skills in mammalian cell culture and in vitro/in vivo assays.

·       Previous hands-on experience on flow cytometry assays, DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, gene cloning, single cell technology, mammalian cell transfection/transduction and animal models.

·       Hands-on experience in executing and developing assays for human T cells and NK cells is preferred.

·       The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

·       Proficiency in data management, analysis, and presentation.

·       Experience in publishing scientific papers and assembling study reports.
