Position Overview: As a Handyman Maintenance Technician, you will be the go-to person for addressing a wide range of maintenance issues in our rental properties. From minor repairs to general upkeep tasks, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and appearance of our properties while providing exceptional service to our tenants.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC troubleshooting. Work to include a variety of exterior maintenance tasks. Address tenant maintenance requests promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction
  • Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
  • Complete turnover maintenance between tenants, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and safety regulations
  • Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification or relevant experience preferred
  • Proven experience in a maintenance role, with expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
