Role: Financial Analyst

Department: Finance/Accounting

Direct Report: CFO


Summary: Exceed Healthcare is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with expertise in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), and Power BI or similar data visualization tools to join our healthcare organization. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support to drive the financial performance and strategic initiatives of the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in the healthcare industry and a strong understanding of financial principles and healthcare reimbursement methodologies.


Job Responsibilities:


As a Financial Analyst for Exceed Healthcare, LLC, your job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:


Key Responsibilities:


1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop financial models to support decision-making processes.
  • Generate financial reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Utilize Power BI to create and manage dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
  • Present financial findings and insights to senior management.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the annual budget.
  • Perform regular financial forecasting and updates.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.


3. Healthcare Reimbursement:


  • Analyze and interpret healthcare reimbursement methodologies and their impact on financial performance.
  • Monitor changes in healthcare regulations and payer policies affecting reimbursement rates and structures.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data from various sources.


4. Data Management and Analysis:


  • Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data from various sources.
  • Maintain and update financial databases and systems.
  • Use DAX to manipulate and analyze large datasets to support decision-making processes.
  • Maintain and update financial databases and systems.
  • Use Power BI or similar tools to manipulate and analyze large datasets.


5. Strategic Planning:


  • Support strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align financial goals with operational objectives.


6. Compliance and Auditing:


  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry.


Skills:

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

? Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.

? Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).

? Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

? Excellent communication and presentation skills.

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

? Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with healthcare reimbursement methodologies and payer systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
