Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Duct Work Mechanics and a Top Helper for an ongoing hospital construction project in Union, SC. The selected candidates will be responsible for the installation of ductwork in a healthcare facility, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install ductwork systems, including sheet metal ductwork, flex ducts, and associated components.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork according to project specifications and blueprints.
  • Ensure all installations meet industry standards and local building codes.
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors on-site to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of daily tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in ductwork installation, particularly in commercial or hospital environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
  • Must possess an active OSHA 10 certification.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Top Helper Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of ductwork installation and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow instructions and assist mechanics in various tasks.
  • Must be safety-conscious and physically capable of performing manual labor.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday (5-6 days per week)
  • 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
