Occupational Therapist Opportunity in the West Valley

Our new West Valley Center, conveniently located on the border of Avondale and Goodyear, is looking for an Occupational Therapist to contribute to our holistic treatment approach. You’ll work alongside speech therapists, behavior analysts, counselors, and psychologists, providing comprehensive care for children with autism and their families.
Pay: $80,000 to $100,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments and develop detailed treatment plans in accordance with Occupational Therapy standards.
- Direct Therapy: Implement therapy goals through direct treatment, either in individual or group settings, within our clinic or at clients' homes.
- Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants, ensuring the highest quality of care.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with our diverse clinical team to deliver integrated care services that address the full spectrum of client needs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation for all services provided, adhering to organizational policies and standards.
- Staff Development: Assist in training initiatives and professional development programs to continually enhance the skills of our team.
- Reliability: Maintain consistent availability and ensure timely attendance for all scheduled appointments, including allowing time for session planning and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must be a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist in the state of Arizona (or eligible for immediate licensure).
- Experience: Preferably has experience in occupational therapy with individuals on the autism spectrum and experience working with young children and families.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to listen, communicate, and interpret the needs of children and families.
- Team Player: Enthusiastic, positive, and open to collaboration, with a commitment to teamwork and innovative ideas.
- Organizational Skills: Capable of multitasking, planning, and independently organizing work activities.
- Compliance: Must successfully pass a fingerprint clearance check, TB test, and meet other related hiring requirements.
