Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mammography Technologist. The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing mammography procedures using specialized equipment to produce high-quality images of the breast. They will ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide the best possible care. The Mammography Technologist will also assist in the maintenance and calibration of equipment and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.

 

Qualifications

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Experience in performing mammography procedures and utilizing radiologic technology
  • Knowledge of radiology and medicine principles
  • Proficiency in radiation safety protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience in women's health or mammography is an asset
  • Associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field
