Sr. DB2-LUW DBA

This position is on-site in Northern Illinois.

Position Responsibilities 

  • Optimize database performance through several techniques including indexing, query optimization and database design, among others.
  • application performance.
  • high availability / disaster recovery tests of critical systems.
  • back up, and recovery procedures.
  • Support databases / upgrade and patch database management systems.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in the DB2-LUW Management System.
  • Proficient in replication technologies (e.g. CDC, Attunity) with basic understanding of data modeling.
