Hours: Full-Time, around 40 hours per week
Work Setting: On-Site
We are excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year in Victorville, CA. This full-time role is essential for supporting studentscommunication and language development from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Caseload / Responsibilities:
- Work with students across K-12 grades.
- Deliver necessary speech-language pathology services to students.
- Provide guidance and support to Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement targeted therapy sessions based on student needs.
- Track and document student progress regularly.
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other relevant parties.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of student educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid California state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Preferably, experience within a school environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
