As a Roofing Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through the promotion and sale of roofing products and services. Your primary focus will be on cultivating relationships with potential clients, assessing their roofing needs, and presenting tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to exceed sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall success and growth of our roofing business.


Key Responsibilities
:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  2. Client Consultation: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' roofing needs, listening attentively to their requirements and preferences, and providing expert guidance and recommendations.
  3. Solution Presentation: Present roofing product options, features, and benefits to clients in a clear and compelling manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  4. Quoting and Proposal Development: Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes and proposals for roofing projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company profitability goals.
  5. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure contracts and close sales, leveraging your persuasive communication skills and industry expertise.
  6. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, contractors, and other industry stakeholders, fostering trust and loyalty through exceptional service and support.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications
:

  1. Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the roofing or construction industry, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  2. Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information and influence purchasing decisions.
  4. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex sales scenarios and close deals that are mutually beneficial for both the client and the company.
  5. Industry Knowledge: Sound understanding of roofing products, materials, installation techniques, and industry regulations, with the ability to educate and advise clients accordingly.
  6. Results-Driven: Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  7. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
  8. Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits.
Compensation: This is a commission-based role, with representatives typically earning between $50,000 and $200,000 annually.
