Job Description:

  • The team is responsible for working on user interfaces of dealership websites, web applications, car applications, etc.
  • Manager is looking for an Automation Tester who will be responsible for writing test scripts and scenarios in Java for APIs and user interfaces.
  • Java – Very good in Java core concepts [understanding of Advanced Java would be really helpful for the candidate to write the test scripts]
  • Understanding on the Mobile applications testing
  • Very good understanding on Junit/BDD/Selenium framework
  • Candidates with the background of Automotive industries would be huge plus

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Automation Planning and Execution: The role involves developing and executing an automation planning and scripting strategy. This is a fundamental responsibility for ensuring that automation is carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Test Framework Development: The candidate is expected to design and develop reusable test frameworks for both UI and API testing. Emphasis is placed on reusability and maintainability of test scripts, which is crucial for long-term efficiency.
  • Test Script Integration: Managing the integration of automated test scripts with a test management tool indicates a focus on efficient test management and reporting.
  • Problem Solving: The role requires the ability to analyze and solve complex problems and motivate team members to produce creative solutions. This suggests a need for critical thinking and leadership skills.
  • Collaboration: Collaboration is highlighted throughout the description. The candidate is expected to collaborate in the overall automation effort, influence priorities, assist team members, and work closely with different teams and stakeholders. This reflects the importance of teamwork and communication in the role.
