Our client, a Real Estate Developer, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Residential Leasing Specialist to join their dynamic property management team, managing all leasing operations for their new residential site in Newton. The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and have a strong understanding of leasing practices in the residential real estate industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction

Responsibilities:

• Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing and move-in.
• Respond promptly to prospective tenant inquiries and schedule property tours.
• Showcase available units to prospective tenants, highlighting features and amenities.
• Provide accurate information about the property and surrounding neighborhood to prospective tenants.
• Prepare leasing agreements and ensure all documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Conduct background and credit checks on potential tenants.
• Collaborate with property management to ensure units are ready for move-in and address any tenant concerns.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of competitive properties and market trends.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective tenants.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Leasing Agent or Leasing Consultant in residential property management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with leasing contracts and legal standards.
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) is preferred.
