Network IT

Provide expert technical skills, guidance, direction, and leadership in regard to the firm’s selection and use of technologies. Lead the firms IT functions. Determine long-term needs and pursue purchases and contracts that will aid in accomplishing business objectives. Responsible for budgeting, strategic planning and forecasting. Rely on extensive knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals. IT focus and specialize in the Broker Dealer business, client service and regulatory requirements. Hands on technically in all aspects of Network IT.

· Cybersecurity professionals - Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and policies to protect an organization's digital assets. Design secure IT systems, networks, and applications. Continuously monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts for signs of suspicious or malicious activities. Manage user access to systems and data, ensuring that only authorized individuals have the appropriate permissions. Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and strong password policies. Identify and assess vulnerabilities in software, hardware, and configurations. Patch and remediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Develop and maintain an incident response plan to address security incidents and data breaches. Ensure that the organization complies with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001). Prepare for and participate in security audits and assessments. Perform security assessments, code reviews, and security testing on applications and systems. Evaluate and select security tools and technologies to enhance the security posture.

· Network Engineer- Implement and manage all systems, applications, security and network configurations. Expert in LAN/WAN systems to install internal and external networks. Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Resolve network performance and network device related issues. Install upgrades, patches, new applications and equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to level1 support team. Monitor network performance and implements performance tuning when necessary.

· Enterprise Infrastructure Architect- Assess system requirements and ensure that systems can be integrated with existing applications. Design high level solutions for entire firms’ infrastructure needs. Ensure optimal performance for all systems. Offer support to other departments, as needed. Possess extensive knowledge of infrastructure, web and software applications. Rely on extensive knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals. Report to senior management.

· Information Security Administrator- Implement network security policies, protect network from unauthorized access, monitor network usage and resolves access issues. Understand and execute security practices according to regulatory bodies. Capture and maintain log data for analysis. Lead manager for regulatory, internal/external and yearly audits. Follow backup retention policies and procedures according to regulatory requirements.

· Firewall Engineer- Install, support and maintain firewall and other security hardware and software infrastructure according to industry best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention devices, and VPN concentrators. Diagnose advanced problems and solve issues, often under time constraints. Manage and configure firewall/security systems by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.

· Business Continuity Administrator– Provide expertise in evaluating facility continuity of operations planning with a focus on policies, plans, procedures, training, equipment, and organizational response to a wide variety of business interruptions. Assist in the development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the continuity of operations program. Develop continuity tests, trainings, and exercises including SFIMA testing as well as internal testing with employees. Identifies personnel needed to implement plan.

· Technical Writer- Write, edit and package a variety of technical documents, including proposals, reports and manuals. Rely on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions. Maintain records and files of work and revisions. Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or personnel. Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding.

· IT Project Manager- Run complex projects from design and development to production. Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment. Define resources and schedule for project/program implementation. Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning. Efficiently identify and solve project issues.

· Data Center Supervisor-Responsible for the functionality of the entire Data Center. Which includes Power requirements, HVAC cooling and CRAC unites, chiller plant, UPS and Generator. Point of contact and leas with vendors for installations of related equipment, failover outages and new scopes of work. BMS system support for Datacenter related equipment and environmental. All structured cabling needs: design, installation and decision.

Within the defined area of responsibility ensure the following as it pertains to the position and where applicable:

Risk Management:

· Perform due diligence in daily job to monitor risks and to prevent risk events from occurring. Manage daily responsibilities within risk governance framework, and policies and procedures of the firm. Take responsibility for identifying and reporting any risks.

· Possesses the appropriate risk management and internal control capabilities/skill set for the position.

Compliance & AML:

· Perform daily role in line with the Company's policies, procedures, WSPs and in compliance with applicable rules, laws and regulations to avoid and/or mitigate any regulatory risks.

 

· Broker Dealer infrastructure expert in connectivity and IT needs,

· Expert in the proprietary TSS Fixed income clearing platform.
