MRI Technologist

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join us in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Position Overview: The MRI Technologist plays a vital role in our radiology department, performing a variety of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans according to physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Prepare and position patients for scans, explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images, adjusting parameters as needed to optimize image quality.
  • Administer contrast media as required for scans, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety.
  • Monitor patients during scans, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines, including radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification required.
  • MRI certification from ARRT or ARMRIT preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and performing scans of various body regions.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
