The Senior Medicare Patrol National Resource Center (SMP NRC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Manager to lead our training programs and initiatives. The SMP NRC is the national resource center for the Senior Medicare Patrol program, which aims to educate and empower Medicare beneficiaries to prevent, detect, and report healthcare fraud. As the Training Manager, you will work closely with the SMP NRC team to develop and implement training strategies that support the mission of the program and ensure high-quality training for our volunteers and staff.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Develop and implement overall training strategy for the SMP NRC program, in alignment with program goals and objectives

- Design, develop, and deliver training materials and resources for volunteers and staff, utilizing a variety of mediums such as online platforms, in-person workshops, and webinars

- Collaborate with subject matter experts within the SMP NRC team to identify training needs and create targeted training programs to address them

- Conduct training needs assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing training programs and identify areas for improvement

- Monitor and track training metrics and provide regular reports to the SMP NRC team and funders

- Coordinate and collaborate with external partners and professionals to offer specialized training sessions

- Lead and facilitate training sessions and workshops for volunteers and staff, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques to enhance learning and engagement

- Evaluate training outcomes and make recommendations for continuous improvement

- Manage and maintain the SMP NRC training portal and update training resources as needed

- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in training and adult learning to ensure the SMP NRC training programs are effective and engaging

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including volunteers, staff, and partners, to ensure the training programs meet their needs and expectations

 

Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, adult learning, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the healthcare industry

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Experience designing and delivering training programs, using a variety of delivery methods and technologies

- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methods

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences

- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training software

- Knowledge of Medicare and healthcare fraud prevention is preferred, but not required

 Salary: $46.000 to $58,000 yearly
