Controller Sr Accountant

As we add to our team, the business is growing fast and we are looking to add a full time Financial Controller to our accounting team. We are fast paced and quickly growing manufacturing North American Dealership for Concrete Pumps. Manufacturing, Retail Parts & Inventory & Service Centre.

We are looking for an inquisitive experienced Financial Controller to join our team .

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in full comptroller compliancy accounting, as well as at least one year administrative or customer service experience, and possess Must have Advanced Excel, MS Office skills. The candidate's inquisitive nature will drive them to research any anomalies and determine the requisite adjustments. Acting as the Primary Accountant, reporting to Business Director, CFO, this position will require a eager, quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Must have ERP system Experience with Dynamics Navision, related party transactions, and international businesses are an asset. Our company offers flexible work hours and health benefits.

• Full Cycle Accounting & Year end File Prep.
• 5+ years’ experience with financial accounting systems, extraction of financial data, and data analysis
• Month end closing financial reporting, and analysis
• Job Costing WIP Working in progress – job related
• Payroll Accounting accruals
• Amortizations - Fixed Asset
• Sales Tax– Monthly,
• Must have knowledge of US Governed tax and state reporting ( Inventory Tax, Property Tax, Sales tax, all tax related )
• Reconciliation – Pre-Paid accounts
• Intercompany Reconciliations
• Credit card Reconciliation - Expenses
• Bank recs for multiple companies
• Intercompany billing related party transactions.
• General Ledger Entries, understanding Debits, Credits
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting ERP software – Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
• Compiles and analyzes account data to create capital, liability, and asset account entries
• Enters account details to document financial transactions
• Analyzes accounting alternatives to suggest financial actions
• Collects data to summarize current financial status
• Prepares profit and loss statements, balance sheets, management reports
• Audits records to substantiate financial transactions
• Coordinates activities and answers questions to guide accounting
• Collects and examines account information necessary to reconcile financial discrepancies
• Follows internal controls to ensure financial security
• Verifies documentation, requests expenditures, and prepares disbursements
• Researches and interprets accounting regulations, assists tax regulations
• Multi currencies
• Follows up with current and new legislation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
• Ensures client confidentiality by keeping financial information secure
• Achieves individual and team goals by contributing to effort as needed
• Manufacturing, and Inventory cost management
• FX Exchange-multiple currencies
• Year end reviews, assist in preparations
• Supervising - Staff of 2 ( Payroll , AR & AP accounting techs )

The Compensation will be based on experience and capabilities of a full controller position. You must live and be a resident of Texas, USA able to report to the office daily, this is not a remote work environment.
