Toolmaker

Our Maintenance team is looking to hire a Toolmaker to join our growing and looking for a dynamic candidate who likes new challenges and has a driven personality to join us.

The Toolmaker will maintain, repair, and build company tools. Part of a maintenance team responsible for Minth Tennessee International’s physical plant and equipment maintenance and customer’s equipment maintenance.

• Performs tooling and die layouts
• Builds, fits and assembles parts to make or repair
  • Precision cutting tools
  • Precision forming tools
  • Jigs
  • Gauges
  • Fixtures
• Uses metal cutting, grinding, drilling and welding equipment
• Licensed Industrial Fork Truck Driver
• Certified in Advanced Lockout/Tagout

To be a qualified candidate you must meet the following:

• A college degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• Must have mechanical abilities
• Minimum of four years maintenance experience
• Able to pass the written Industrial Fork Truck Driver Test
• Able to pass Advanced Lock-out / Tag-out Training

• Must be able to read & write, have basic math skills, and understand and follow written procedures
• Maintain and follow all training requirements
• Understand and follow all quality, safety and environmental processes and procedures
• Follow all recycling programs
• Able to work different hours and shifts as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Use required safety equipment
