CT Technologist Opportunity

We have been engaged by one of our clients in the region to help them recruit a Computed Tomography (CT) Tech to join their growing team.

They are a leading healthcare provider that is dedicated to delivering high-quality medical services to the community. Their state-of-the-art facility is committed to patient care, innovation, and professional growth.

Description:
As a CT Technologist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) equipment. Your primary responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating CT scanners, and ensuring high-quality images are produced for accurate diagnosis. You will work closely with radiologists, healthcare professionals, and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Review and evaluate images to determine if additional views or adjustments are necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
  • Provide patient education and address any questions or concerns regarding the imaging procedure.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and CT.
  • Texas Medical Board TMB state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
  • Strong understanding of CT imaging principles and practices.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic images.
  • CPR certification is a plus.
