YOUR PURPOSE

The Commercial Finance Analyst is responsible for maintaining the open order book working with the scheduling team, as well as analyzing and assessing customer pricing & trends while driving the commercial agenda across all departments.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain standard cost method tasks such as materials revaluations, cost roll ups, and truing up inventory value.
  • Align standard cost of sellable items by working with the purchasing department and compare to quoted cost as well as analyzing variances on a weekly basis.
  • Review of previous invoices while using different approaches for analyzing profitability by different categories.
  • Responsible for analyzing liabilities and other exposure for cancelled orders or unused materials per the current process.
  • Assist in quoting of finished good products using different current methods considering the ever-changing commercial approached of the business.
  • Maintain various schedules as assigned
  • Manage open orders reports while working closely with the scheduling and purchasing teams. 
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly tasks as pertains to budget and forecast.
  • Daily invoicing of customers
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

·         Either obtain or in process to complete a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or other related areas.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of experience handling standard cost, and other manufacturing KPIs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·         Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

·         Good verbal and written communication skills.

·         Good working in a team setting across multiple departments.

·         Proficiency of computer skills to include; MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook

Training, Certification or License:

·         Department cGMP and SOP requirements
