Position Summary
The Real Estate Agent must have the ability to deliver work on time, maintaining the highest quality, and productivity. Responsibility includes all work related to prospecting leads, buying property and selling property. The role is dynamic and requires a self-motivated individual who is flexible, an independent self-starter, passionate to take ownership of challenges, solution minded, and is able to navigate a fast-paced industry with a strong drive to achieve. We are looking for someone that is unique in the marketplace, and someone that is excited to work with us.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Prospect for contacts of property owners of both listed and unlisted commercial property
- Navigate people search tools to find property owner contact info
- Conduct commercial real estate research – comparable sales, market valuation, ownership history, etc
- Negotiate to get the best price and drive the deal to closure
- Draft offer letters and purchase agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful business transactions
- Manage deal pipeline and documentation in CRM
- Identify new markets, monitor municipal ballot / ordinance initiatives
Qualifications
- Real Estate License
- Capable and comfortable spending 50%+ of your time on the phone working with property owners and other brokers
- Able to accurately evaluate and summarize property attributes such as size, location, zoning, etc. to determine which properties to pursue
- Growth-oriented, open to new ideas and willingness to learn
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to devise and propose solutions to close a deal with the other party
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Preferred previous experience working with or in small companies or startups
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent leadership, management, organizational, motivational, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook, CRM)
- Work independently and effectively manage a large workload in a dynamic environment
- Effectively manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to deliver results on-time
- Ability to develop and monitor production strategies and performance metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Focused and able learn new tasks quickly
