Wok Cook

Shift: 1st

Hours: 9am – 4:30pm approx.

Pay: 16.00

PrideStaff is looking to hire an enthusiastic Wok Cook for a company in the downtown Akron area. The Wok Cook will be responsible for cooking a variety of cuisine to order in a safe manner.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Prepare meat, seafood, poultry, and other items using a Wok and other kitchen equipment

·         Ensure food safety by checking food temperatures

·         Assist with prep cooking duties such as cutting, seasoning vegetables, meats, and other food items

·         Assist in plating the end-product

·         Replenish lines with ingredient as needed

·         Clean and sanitize surfaces as scheduled and as needed

·         Performs other duties as assigned by kitchen manager

Qualifications:

·         Prior 6 months to 1 years’ experience cooking using a Wok

·         Prior prep cook and line cook experience

Physical Demands:

·         May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

·         May be required to stand for long periods of time
