Temporary Bakery / Decorating Associate

Shift: 1st

Hours: Between 6am - 4pm

Pay: 16.00

PrideStaff is looking to hire an enthusiastic Bakery Associate for a company in the downtown Akron area. The Bakery Associate will be responsible for baking a variety of different goods i.e. cakes, cupcakes, muffins.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers

·         Gather and select appropriate ingredients based on recipe

·         Ensure food safety by checking doneness of baked products

·         Assist in decorating final product by layering, frosting, and piping

·         Clean and sanitize surfaces as scheduled and as needed

·         Performs other duties as assigned by kitchen manager

Qualifications:

·         Prior 6 months to 1 years’ experience as a baker

·         Prior cake decorating experience

Physical Demands:

·         May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

·         May be required to stand for long periods of time
