Job Summary: The Facilities Staff is responsible for maintenance, janitorial tasks, and event setup/teardown at the school. They report to the Director of Facilities for daily assignments and work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean various areas including classrooms, offices, library, gym, and restrooms
  • Perform painting tasks, including selecting appropriate paint types and tools
  • Diagnose and fix basic electrical and plumbing issues
  • Direct traffic during peak hours and events
  • Set up and dismantle furniture and equipment for events based on provided layouts
  • Inspect rooms for cleanliness and needed repairs
  • Assemble furniture
  • Assist with event setups and teardown (tables, chairs, platforms, etc.)
  • Dispose of trash properly
  • Create work orders for repairs and maintenance
  • Conduct routine inspections of interior and exterior areas and equipment
