We are seeking a skilled RAN Engineer with experience in private cellular networks to join our team. As a RAN Engineer specializing in private cellular networks, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and maintaining our private cellular network infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our network.


Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and implement private cellular network solutions tailored to specific industry needs.

• Conduct radio network planning and optimization to meet coverage, capacity, and security requirements.

• Perform site surveys and assess RF propagation characteristics for private cellular deployments.

• Configure and troubleshoot RAN equipment, including base stations, small cells, and distributed antenna systems (DAS).

• Implement security measures to protect private cellular networks from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

• Analyze network performance metrics and implement optimizations to enhance reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with network operations teams to resolve network issues and ensure high availability.

• Conduct drive testing and network performance analysis to validate coverage and quality of service.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in private cellular networks.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to other teams involved in private cellular deployments.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

• years of experience in RAN engineering with a focus on private cellular networks.

• In-depth understanding of LTE, 5G NR, and other cellular technologies.

• Knowledgeable in understanding the CBRS spectrum and SAS management protocols

• Proficiency in RF planning and optimization tools specific to private cellular networks.

• Hands-on experience with RAN equipment from major vendors (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei) in private network deployments.

• Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices for private cellular networks.

• Experience with private core network architecture and protocols.

• Experience in drive testing and network performance analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Proficient in understanding the CBRS spectrum, including FCC regulations, and experienced in managing SAS (Spectrum Access System) protocols. Skilled in navigating FCC licensing processes and sTA (Secondary Tier Administrator) licensing procedures, ensuring compliance and effective utilization of spectrum resources.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

• Experience with integrating private cellular networks with existing enterprise infrastructure and applications.

• Familiarity in using industry standard tools for drive test log collection and analysis
