We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Billing Specialist to manage our billing operations while also handling front desk duties. This role requires proficiency in accounts receivable/accounts payable and excellent customer service skills as the first point of contact for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, send, and track invoices and bills for our services.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Answer and direct phone calls, providing a professional first point of contact for clients and visitors.
- Maintain and update customer records and billing information in the company database.
- Resolve any billing discrepancies and handle client inquiries related to billing.
- Assist with general front desk duties including greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and managing mail.
- Generate reports and statements for internal use and review by management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy and improve financial procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar accounting role.
- Experience with front desk operations and telephone handling.
- Strong knowledge of billing procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- further education or certification in Business Administration or Accounting is a plus.
