Part time Theater Cook Position

We are looking for an experienced and creative cook to join our theatrical production. The ideal candidate must have a passion for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cook, in a theater setting is preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of food safety regulations

• Ability to be creative with food

• Ability to be flexible with recipes and ingredients

• A willingness to wear a costume and take part in the story

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of food items according to theater recipes and specifications

• Create new and exciting dishes to enhance our theatrical production

• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are followed

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Operate kitchen equipment and tools

• Ensure all food items are stored and prepared properly

• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a successful production

Education/Training Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience in hospitality or food and beverage

• Experience in theater

Physical Abilities:

• Ability to stand for 3+ hours at a time

• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
