Summary

Renewal Unlimited, Inc is seeking a highly motivated AmeriCorps Member Tutor. You will play a vital role in supporting educational initiatives and making a positive impact on the lives of students. You will work closely with other program staff to provide educational support and promote student success. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the community

Duties

- Work directly with AmeriCorps Members ages 17-24 to obtain their HSED through tutoring each member's area(s) of need
- Provide individualized support to students in various subjects
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Support students with special needs or learning disabilities
- Assist with organizing testing through Madison Area Technical College
-Provide transportation to testing at Madison Area Technical College, Portage campus
- Help create a positive learning environment

License/Certification:
  • Driver's License
Ability to Commute:
  • Portage, WI 53901
Ability to Relocate:
  • Portage, WI 53901: Relocate before starting work

Experience:
  • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
