DETAILS

Location: 100% On-Site in Argyle, TX

Position Type: Direct-Hire

Salary: up to $115K

ABOUT THE POSITION

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Sr. FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst for a Direct-Hire, 100% on-site role in Argyle, TX. This role will play a crucial role in our client's finance department, focusing on strategic financial planning and decision support. This role involves collaborating with various departments, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to senior management to aid in strategic decision-making. The Senior FP&A Analyst will support multiple investment and portfolio company projects, focusing on comprehensive financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities include managing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. The role involves assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, analyzing outcomes, and providing detailed explanations.

 

Key duties include preparing monthly analyses of critical financial statement accounts, such as income statements and balance sheets, and conducting cash flow forecasting and analysis, presenting findings to key stakeholders. The Sr. Analyst will review and evaluate profit and loss statements to ensure financial statement accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company standards, and ensure the precision of monthly revenue and expense reports.

 

The position also leads various financial projects, including cost analysis, ROI assessments, client/customer growth analysis, pricing strategies, and other initiatives aimed at business success. The analyst will serve as a cross-functional business partner, offering guidance and collaborating on projects, as well as creating, building, and manipulating dashboards using large data sets. Additionally, the role involves preparing and presenting financial results to various departments and executive leadership.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ ​​years in the following skill sets…FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)
  • Analysis of financial data, proven ability to identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills help in understanding the implications of financial metrics and in making strategic decisions.
  • Financial Modeling
  • Proficiency in creating detailed financial models, including forecasting, budgeting, and performing scenario analysis to predict future financial performance and assess potential outcomes.
  • Excel expert - PivotTables, VLookup
  • Data Analysis in PowerBI
  • HIGHLY DESIRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED)Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • MBA
  • CFA or CPA certification
