 Position Summary:

The Systems Analyst II serves as the System Administrator, SME, and key point of contact for the HR/ADP systems landscape.  Responsible for maintaining and optimizing the HR ecosystem, integrations, and business processes.  Responsibilities include facilitating the research, development, documentation, and re-engineering of HR business processes. Responsible for Time and Attendance, Payroll, Recruitment Management, and other ADP module system configurations, ensuring data integrity through audits and report writing. Responsible for triage/mitigation of any system/integration issues impacting payroll processing and liaison with internal stakeholders and vendor support if necessary. Oversee, in partnership with HR leadership, the systems change management cycle including communications and training related to system implementations, updates and releases to drive behavior changes and adoption. Ensure good governance over system configuration and manages process and system change requests. This role will partner closely with business leaders to identify opportunities to drive business process improvements in efficiency and quality.

Primary Functions:

  • Take ownership, responsibility, and accountability of multiple enterprise ADP/HR applications.
  • Conduct business process re-engineering to identify opportunities for improvement and making appropriate recommendations; ensuring processes are optimally aligned and that they follow industry standards.
  • Coordinate and perform lifecycle of assigned implementation projects in compliance with ITIL change management methodology (i.e. Business Analysis, Summary of Business Rule Requirements, System Configuration, Data Mapping, Parallel Testing, Live Processing and Support Transition).
  • Support organization change management, create, and conduct end user training, assist in the creation of documentation and partner on communications pertaining to ADP/HR Systems and business processes.
  • Create functional/technical specs, business process mapping, SOPs, and system admin process documentation.
  • Research, review, analyze, design and test systems and current procedures/processes, identify areas for improvement and develop and implement a standardization system across the organization.
  • Leads the team to ensure timely implementation and updates to foundational system components and data management including business structures, security and access groups, workflows and integrations, file feeds, data bridges, and data integrations with other business applications.
  • Provides day to day leadership for all functional related activities within the scope of the ADP/HR Systems. Manages day to day issue resolution to ensure service level expectations are met.  Performs root cause analysis of problems and recommends steps to prevent recurrences.
  • Develops and manages vendor relationships to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.  Serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and software vendors and consultants.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all functions (HR, Finance, IT, Operations) to maintain and develop processes that will create a best-in-class ADP/HR operations platform and an excellent associate experience.
  • Maintains technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in ADP Bridge Community and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, voting, training, webinars, etc.
  • Review and evaluate technical and production support issues and prepare recommendations based on an in-depth knowledge of the problem, the system and the advantages and disadvantages of the alternative solutions.
  • Develops and manages special projects as identified by HR.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • A deep understanding of the organization and the user community in the HR Systems business area
  • Responsible for managing increasingly complex individual projects or work streams.
  • Project management and organizational skills to communicate and follow-up effectively with project leadership, subject matter experts and external customers/vendors on project timelines and documents performance.
  • Eagerness to learn the software and increase knowledge over time while promoting it within the organization.
  • Performs complex system analysis, design, integration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and planning of assigned applications and/or projects. Assist IT Systems Analyst I staff with application configuration. Implement and develop communication plans.
  • The ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community, which directly influences how the system will be built.
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce quality work.
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet goals in a timely manner, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to move projects forward equally as much as the ability to work independently and make progress.
  • The ability to get things done. Analysts should know the decision-makers and when to escalate issues.
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve to find solutions to simple and complex issues.

 Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years' experience in IT
    • Experience working with ADP Vantage System is preferred.
    • Strong working knowledge of application systems and analyst tools
  • Deep understanding of the workflows in healthcare business and clinical operations and proven ability to work on a variety of projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

Certification: 

  • Systems Analyst II will acquire and maintain vendor software certification(s) as applicable.

Physical Demands

  • The Systems Analyst II job is a Full-Time position. Occasional travel is a requirement of the position and will vary in length depending on the purpose of the trip. Trips are generally planned; however, there may be times when travel is last minute.
