DMS is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with experience developing software solutions using either CAD Platform APIs or web based 3D frameworks and is passionate about creating and using modern web technologies. At DMS, technology is the backbone of the company and you will join a team of like minded Engineers who are knowledgeable and passionate about creating purpose built manufacturing software and automations to solve complex and interesting problems in multi dimensional space. In this role you will be working directly with our CTO, other Engineering team members, and directly with users to design and create technical solutions from green field inception into production, experiencing first hand the satisfaction of seeing your ideas come to life and having a meaningful impact on users. There is no legacy code-base to maintain which provides a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial engineer to provide immediate value while working directly with users to see results quickly.

About You
You are a self-starter, collaborative, and experienced engineer who has prior experience in a team based environment using web based 3D technologies and modern frameworks. You understand web based technologies, concepts, and deployments and have a bias towards action and failing fast. Continuous integration and improving code quality are development pillars you strategize your day to day development priorities against and delivering thoughtful, scalable, and robust solutions is what drives you.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Provide technical ownership over one or more assigned areas of the DMS platform and work with the CTO and Team Lead to provide input and influence on the technology roadmap.
  • Research and provide recommendations on concepts, frameworks, APIs, and new advancements in technologies DMS can use to create and implement extensibile solutions that achieve goals of the DMS Engineering Team
  • Participate in work breakdown and team story planning using agile development practices
  • Provide break/fix production support using tooling and instrumentation implemented by DMS Engineering
  • Write well-tested code and unit tests that are maintainable and extensible for other engineers to enhance and support.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing opportunities and contribute to the overall growth of the collective knowledge of the Engineering team
Required Experience
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience in a team based setting
  • Proficient in Typescript, Angular, and NodeJS or other modern javascript frameworks
  • Experience using or integrating open source 3D frameworks such as jscad, threejs, and opencascade to create scalable, extensible, and interactive experiences for web based users
  • Development experience implementing Math based algorithms using trigonometry, geometry, and linear algebra
  • Experience using containers from local thru production environments to increase dev velocity and throughput
  • Experience with CAD files, CAD platforms/APIs, or other relevant experience with 3D processing technologies
  • Experience developing against DBMS platforms such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Aurora
  • Demonstrated experience with OOP and Design Patterns
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Experience utilizing software practices, such as:
    • Agile/Scrum software development practices
    • CI/CD and Continuous integration
    • Peer based Pull Requests and Code Reviews
    • Automated Unit Testing
    • Version Control Systems (e.g. Github, Bitbucket, or TFS)
Desired Experience
  • Experience with API first development, creating API endpoints and using ORMs in your code
  • Non-native Mobile development experience
