Vent Hood Maintenance

Salary Rate: $12.00 hourly
Location: Columbus, GA and surrounding areas
Type: Direct Hire

Shift: Sunday – Thursday 9:00 pm – 6:00 am

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Vent Hood Maintenance workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchen exhaust systems, including vent hoods, ductwork, fans, and filters. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and efficiency of commercial kitchen operations.

What Matters Most:

· Hourly pay $12.00 per hour plus bonuses

· Direct Hire

· On-site position in a collaborative and supportive environment

· Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 9:00 pm – 6:00 am

Your New Role:

· Perform thorough cleaning of commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including vent hoods, ductwork, and exhaust fans.

· Remove grease, grime, and other contaminants from all exhaust system components.

· Inspect and identify any potential issues or needed repairs in the exhaust system.

· Use specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.

· Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

· Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and any issues encountered.

· Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

· Comply with local health and safety regulations.

Your Experience:

  • Previous experience in kitchen exhaust system cleaning or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
  • Flexible schedule, including night shifts and weekends, depending on client needs and willingness to travel (company vehicle provides transportation)
  • Not afraid of heights and very agile.
