Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using systematic methodologies.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyor systems, and other machinery.
  • Install and align mechanical drive systems and electrical components.
  • Recommend process improvements based on equipment performance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records for future reference.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on equipment maintenance.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical background.
  • Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CMMS).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Familiar with shop equipment such as drill press, band saw, and power tools.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • 2-year Technical Degree desired.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing or comparable skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret precision measuring devices.
  • Successful completion of certification testing.
