Compensation: Salaried plus benefits (Non-Exempt). Starting wage varies by education and experience.

Wage Range: $39,523 to $43,475 per year
The salary range provided above is an estimate and subject to vary depending on the candidate's education, prior relevant experience, team wage parity, and other bonafide factors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Associate of Science degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field (required)
  • Experience: No experience with requisite education. 3+ years prior relevant electronics experience is required if there is no degree.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong rapport with customers over the phone, email, and face-to-face (required)
  • Able to read electronic schematics and understand common electronic circuits, including Op Amp and digital circuitry (a plus)
  • Performs a variety of duties, including testing, calibrating, and adjusting equipment
  • Able to design, conduct, and document tests and tabulate results
  • Able to write test procedures for internal use, write application notes, and write manuals for external use
  • Uses verbal and written instructions, drawings, diagrams, and schematics to accomplish task
  • Able to troubleshoot effectively, to determine possible causes, and to verify or eliminate the possible causes of the failure
  • Able to rework electronic circuits
  • Able to use required test and measurement equipment, including Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Pulse Height Analyzers.
  • Willingness to learn to write firmware or software for use in test fixtures or programs
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards: ISO 21501-4, ISO 14644-1/2, ISO 14698, EU GMP, Annex 1, PIC/S, FDA cGMP, BS EN 17441, and similar international standards (a plus)
  • Training provided includes, but is not limited to: Environmental monitoring best in biopharmaceutical clean areas; Knowledge of basic microbiology and particle science; Basic knowledge of LIMS, SCADA, and MODA product integrations;
  • Bilingual (Spanish, German, or French) a plus
  • U.S. work authorization (required)

JOB DUTIES

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Become an expert in product knowledge and provide exceptional technical assistance and information on best practices to customers in a regulated environment
  • Capable of performing calibration and electronic repairs
  • Analyzes and assists complex technical customer inquiries
  • Works with engineering and sales staff to provide detailed and accurate customer responses and conduct engineering validation testing
  • Analyzes and recommends engineering modifications to fulfill customer requirements
  • Communicates directly with customers via email, phone, or in person
  • Basic network IT support (required)
  • Must follow procedures established in compliance with ISO 9001
  • Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Successful Candidates must be able to perform the following:

  • Ability to type and work efficiently on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods is required
  • Ability to type 40 wpm
  • Must be able to differentiate between colors

OTHER

A basic English and Math test will be administered during the pre-selection process. The successful candidate must also pass a physical and a drug test as a condition for continued employment.
