Ideal Dental in Las Vegas, NV is looking for one full time associate dentist to join our team for our office located in Las Vegas NV ZIP 89109.

Hours of Operation 8am to 6pm Mon-Thur

The role of an Associate Dentist involves providing comprehensive dental care to patients under the supervision or in collaboration with an experienced dentist. The associate dentist is responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, maintaining oral health, and improving patients' smiles. They work in dental clinics or private practices, assisting in delivering high-quality dental services to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care: Conduct dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and cleanings. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to maintain good oral health.

2. Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the lead dentist or senior colleagues to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients, considering their dental needs, medical history, and personal preferences. Discuss treatment options with patients and provide clear explanations of procedures and expected outcomes.

3. Dental Procedures: Perform dental procedures efficiently and accurately, adhering to established clinical protocols and best practices. Utilize modern dental technology and equipment to ensure accurate diagnosis, comfortable treatment experiences, and optimal results.

4. Patient Management: Establish a rapport with patients, listen to their concerns, and address their questions or anxieties about dental procedures. Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients, promoting a positive dental experience and building long-term patient relationships.

5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental records for each patient, including treatment plans, progress notes, and radiographs. Adhere to patient confidentiality regulations and dental practice standards in record management.

6. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education, attending conferences, and engaging in professional development activities. Enhance skills and knowledge to deliver the highest standard of dental care.

7. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the dental team, including dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care, efficient workflow, and effective practice management.

Requirements:

- Degree in Dentistry (Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine)

- Valid dental license in the respective jurisdiction

- Good clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Commitment to patient care and maintaining professional ethics
