Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist:

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our newly opened location in Lehigh. We are seeking an individual that enjoys working with children and has the patience, flexibility, resourcefulness, creativity, and imagination to adapt activities to fit the unique requirements of each child’s special needs. In order to communicate with children, families, and team members, the pediatric occupational therapist must have excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluation, the evaluation, re-evaluation, development, and implementation of a plan of care in accordance with the departmental policies and procedures and preferred practice patterns. Occupational therapy services develop, maintain, improve, or restore neuro-muscular or sensory-motor function to relieve pain, acquire a skill set, restore a skill set, or control postural deviations.

Shift:

· Day Shift

· Monday - Friday

Position:

· Per-diem

Requirements:

· Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program

· Hold a current license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida

· Have a minimum of 1 year experience working with pediatric patients

· Healthcare Provider CPR license

Physical Demands:

· Heavy caseload of patients

· Standing and walking during work shifts

· Lifting and transferring of patients

· Carrying and lifting of equipment

· Sitting at desk

· Able to lift 50 pounds and more.

Pay:

· $50-$55 per hour
