Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to lead/complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand product assignment.

Education and Experience:

  • Must have 10 years of experience working as a Sheet Metal Mechanic and 3+ years in a lead/foreman role.
  • Experience installing chillers, boilers and cooling towers is required.
  • Successful completion of an apprenticeship program with certification preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Select types of sheet metal according to building or design plans
  • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets
  • Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets
  • Install metal sheets with supportive frameworks
  • Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites
  • Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal parts
  • Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering

Start Date: ASAP
