Job DescriptionJob Description

Currently have a client seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 2+ years of experience in CNC programming, particularly with expertise in Edgecam and Inovia software. Knowledge of Mastercam and Gibbscam is also desirable. The successful candidate will primarily work with a variety of machines including Okuma, HAAS, Mori, and Mazak.

Responsibilities

  • Develop CNC programs using Edgecam and Inovia software to produce precision machined components.
  • Collaborate with engineers and machinists to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Perform tooling selection, setup, and verification to ensure accurate machining operations.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC programs and machine tools.
  • Adhere to quality standards and procedures to meet customer specifications and expectations.
  • Provide training and support to machine operators as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in CNC programming, preferably with Edgecam and Inovia software.
  • Proficiency in operating CNC machines, specifically Okuma, HAAS, Mori, and Mazak.
  • Knowledge of Mastercam and Gibbscam software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods and to lift up to 40 lbs.
