Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure patients feel welcome & comfortable
  • Conduct initial screenings and review health history
  • Identify conditions
  • Educate patients of all ages on oral health
  • Take appropriate X-rays
  • Assist dentists recommending treatments for various diseases
  • Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Fun and friendly personality
  • Attention to detail
  • Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Valid Colorado Dental Hygiene license to practice

Hours

  • Monday 7 am - 4 pm
  • Tuesday 9 am - 6 pm
  • Wednesday 7 am - 4 pm
  • Thursday 7 am - 3 pm
  • Enjoy a 3 day weekend

Other

  • 1 hour perio maintenance and prophy appointments
  • 90 minute new patient appointments
