We are looking for a Lead Refurbishment Technician to add to our growing team

Job Summary:

The Lead Refurbishment Technician will be responsible for scheduling the workload in the remanufacturing area. Must have strong organizational skill with out of the box thinking. Able to perform in-shop repair and recondition of used and new equipment and have the ability to train other technicians, irrespective of what skill level, in the appropriate techniques used by Empire to maintain.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Lead Refurbishment Technician will:

· Work independently to refurbish and repair equipment to like-new condition.

· Diagnose problems with returned equipment to determine if it is user or equipment failure.

· Recommend to Service Supervisor when returned product should be scrapped.

· Assign tasks / workload to the other Technicians to meet or exceed deadlines

· Comfortably work with tools, repair equipment, and cleaning chemicals.

· Actively maintain a neat, clean, organized workstation and department.

· Perform in-shop repair and recondition of used and new equipment 80%

· Perform testing of machines before removing and tagging of parts for repurposing 20%

Experience and/or Training: 3-5 years

Licenses/Certificates: EPA 608 Universal certification

Additional Requirements:

· Valid driver's license with clean driving record

· Successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
