CNC Machinist

In search of a skilled machinist with a background in 3D surface machining using Surfcam(or similar).

Ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced mold shop and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

We build multi-piece aluminum molds.

Machining is 90% aluminum.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore
gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist
- Knowledge of Rotational Molds and Vacuum Form Molds is a plus
- Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations and measurements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
