Overview
Hiring immediately for Occupational Therapists to join our team for full-time and part-time placements for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year in the Bronx. We have immediate needs in a Bronx preschool with a daily schedule of 8:30am-2:30pm and in schools throughout the Bronx districts. If interested in other NYC boroughs, please reach out for immediate placements in elementary and D75 schools. 

Curious Littles OT is an occupational therapist owned practice, deeply committed to using current best practices in the OT field and the forever evolving education system in our work with children. We value lifelong learners and creative problem solvers who want to make a real difference. Autonomy is provided with mentorship and coaching from a former supervisor of schools with over a decade of experience in the pediatric field. We ensure therapists feel equipped and comfortable. We can offer on and off-site supervision so you never feel alone.

OT preschool/school rates: Starting at $65-$75/hour

OT evaluations: $110-$140 per evaluation

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide back to back therapy sessions to students in accordance with IEP mandates in one school location
  • Complete daily session notes electronically using NYC DOE approved software
  • Track and maintain accurate record of student attendance and weekly invoice
  • Write quarterly and annual reports during the school year
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents/caregivers in any modifications needed, sensory diet plans, etc.
  • Participate in required team meetings and staff development activities

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • New York State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Team player with a compassionate attitude
  • Previous pediatric experience preferred but will train
