Job Title: Oracle Database Developer

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Location: Carson City, NV USA  89706​​​​​​​ - Hybrid

Pay Range : $53/Hour on W2 basis 

Job Description:

The IT Programmer will be responsible for upgrading (or creating new) Oracle database and data warehouse views, stored procedures, Unix Shell scripts, batch jobs, and other items from multiple legacy, on-premises Oracle databases (12c and 19c} to our new, cloud-based ERP database solution (Oracle 19c).

  • Develop new PL/SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to support data integration between the legacy data warehouse and the new ERP.
  • Modify and optimize existing PL/SQL code to improve performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of data transfers.
  • Document all developed code, scripts, and procedures thoroughly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and interface functionality.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Oracle’s PL/SQL is essential.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and Scheduler jobs (Cosmos or Automate).
  • Experience with SQL*Loader. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in ERP data integration projects is a plus.

Experience and Skills Preferred

  • Proficiency in Oracle's PL/SQL is essential.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts end ETL processes.
  • Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and Scheduler jobs (Cosmos or Automate).
  • Experience with SQL*Loader
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. .
