Solaris HealthCare is now hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Qualifications:

  • Successful graduation from an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
  • Licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Florida
  • Prior experience as Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), preferred.
  • Prior experience in Skilled Nursing preferred.
  • Membership in state and national American Physical Therapy Association, preferred.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in physical therapy.
  • Thorough knowledge of potential hazards to patients during treatment and necessary precautionary and remedial measures.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and obtain their cooperation in prescribed treatments.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the medical staff and other personnel.
  • Demonstrate emotional stability to cope with the demands of both patients and employees.
  • Must maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
