Landscaper

Brookhaven, GA

Contract: $18/hr

Monday-Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

 

Responsibilities

  • General yard-type work, such as cutting grass, blowing, and raking.
  • Operating riding lawn mower, backpack blower, or line trimmer.
  • Daily emptying of trash cans in parks.
  • Maintain park grounds, homeless encampments, right-of-ways

 

Requirements

  • Knowledge of precautions necessary to work safely with tools and mechanized equipment and around the public.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks involving physical strength and endurance under variable weather conditions including working with herbicides and around extreme heat.
  • Ability to work effectively with coworkers and the general public
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to conform to grooming and dress codes (uniforms furnished).
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • A valid Georgia Driver’s License is required upon appointment
