Powder Coater Helpers

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Operate powder coating equipment to apply coatings to various metal parts
- Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of powder coatings
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired coating thickness and appearance
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Experience in powder coating or a related field preferred - 1 year minimum
- Knowledge of materials handling, auto body repair, airless paint spraying, fabrication, assembly, crane operation, auto painting, welding, machining, and the use of hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work instructions
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
