As an X-ray Technologist, you will provide conscientious patient care while adhering to all quality and safety standards. You will also perform administrative duties (such as scheduling appointments, patient instructions, and maintaining records). You will perform high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to their needs.

Responsibilities:

• Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Correctly interpreting providers' written scanning instructions.
• Evaluating X-rays to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.

Requirements:

• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• CPR and BLS certification.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Demonstrates accountability and maintains strict compliance with patient privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA.

Experience:

A minimum of 1 year of radiography experience is preferred—X-ray technician.

Certification:

• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• CPR and BLS certification.

Very Competitive Salary Package

$36 – $40 per hour

Please note that the salary range is negotiable from part-time to full-time.
