TITLE: CLIENT RELATIONSHIP REPRESENTATIVE
Symmetry Partners provides independent Financial Advisors with a complete business solution, including Evidence-Based investment strategies and operational services and support. To help Advisors deliver a better client experience, we also provide marketing, technology, and business consulting.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a self-starting problem solver with a strong sense of service excellence who can think critically and enjoys building professional relationships. The ideal candidate patiently and relentlessly pursues the best solution to a given challenge and does so with an eye for both the big picture and each critical detail. Our Client Relationship Representatives are assigned to specific regions of the country and partner with a member of our sales team to help build strong working relationships with our advisors. This is not a typical call center environment; the position is responsible for handling forty to fifty calls per day, managing email requests and researching matters. The role requires familiarity with financial services concepts, as well as a breadth of experience in providing excellent service.
Core Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains relationships with registered financial advisors and their staff.
- Services financial advisors, primarily by answering phone calls and responding to emails regarding establishing and maintaining financial accounts.
- Assists with paperwork to establish new accounts and service requests.
- Works with multiple investment custodians as a center point of contact for the advisors and their staff.
- Collaborates with the sales team to help assist them with onboarding advisors and other tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent relationship management aptitude, with demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, strong organizational and communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain business relationships.
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline and/or 1-2 years’ relationship management experience in the Financial Services/Investment Industry preferred.
- Ability to work with multiple Financial and custodial platform systems.
- General knowledge of Envestnet and Orion Advisor Services financial platforms are a plus
This position requires working in the office full time during the first two months of employment before hybrid schedule is allowed that requires 3 days in our Glastonbury office and 2 days remote. Subject to change at management's discretion based on business and operational needs.
